Categories of Membership
SIFMA's long-term policy is that full and associate membership is available on a corporate level giving all employees of that organization individual access to member benefits. SIFMA membership does not extend to parent companies, subsidiaries, sister companies or divisions operating under a different entity name unless those entities also obtain SIFMA membership.
Full Membership
Full membership is open to all registered broker dealer firms, including registered asset managers.
Associate Membership
Associate membership is reserved for non-broker/dealer firms whose business interests are closely tied to the financial markets. This includes law firms, technology vendors, government sponsored enterprises, trading platforms, rating agencies, insurers, and exchanges.

As a member of SIFMA you receive many tangible and intangible benefits including a larger influence on Capitol Hill, access to our research and media relations teams, educational opportunities and dynamic conferences and forums.
Dues Schedule
SIFMA operates on a fiscal year that runs from November 1st through October 31st. Dues are not prorated prior to May 1st. After May 1st, dues are prorated per month of membership until the end of the fiscal year.
